Privacy policy
3menda Batalla · Effective date: October 8, 2026
This policy explains the data we process when receiving applications, recording votes, managing sponsorships, and operating https://3mendabatalla.com. The controller is Argelis Holguin, an individual based in the United States, operating under the trade name 3menda Batalla. For questions or data requests: info@3mendabatalla.com.
1. Information we receive
Applicants: name, stage name, phone number, email, Instagram, country, description, years of experience, and photographs; also work and videos submitted or recorded during the competition, communications, acceptance records, and payment references. Where needed to verify eligibility or deliver the prize, we will request only relevant additional identity, age, payment, shipping, or tax information through an appropriate channel.
Candidate card photos: to create each candidate card, the background of the half-body photo is removed automatically by Cloudflare Images (an image segmentation model). The tool only separates the person from the background; it does not generate, redraw, or alter the face. The original photo is kept, and our staff can correct the cutout manually.
Voters: name, email, selected candidate, vote date and status, email verification, and a separate choice about receiving news. To prevent fraud, voting records store a cryptographic fingerprint derived from the IP address instead of a readable IP address. This fingerprint helps detect patterns and is pseudonymized data; we do not describe it as fully anonymous.
Brands: company details, contact person, communications, billing details, contract and signature, and materials such as logos and videos. We also retain performance and payment information needed to administer the sponsorship.
Visitors: cookieless statistics about approximate country, referral source, and pages viewed. Connecting necessarily transmits technical information, including an IP address, to infrastructure that delivers and protects the website; providers may process it in their own operational logs. The voting fingerprint rule does not mean that no provider receives an IP address.
2. Purposes and legal grounds
We use information to review and publish applications, create candidate cards, verify votes and prevent duplicates, manage the competition, communicate schedules and results, respond to requests, process payments and refunds, fulfill sponsorships, and deliver prizes. Information required for these functions does not automatically subscribe you to advertising.
Where the law requires a legal basis, necessary processing relies on performance of the application or contract, legal obligations, balanced legitimate interests in security and integrity, and consent for marketing and other uses requiring it. Withholding essential information may prevent an application, vote, or prize payment. A fraud alert alone does not produce a final automated disqualification; human review is available.
3. Public information and recipients
Public profiles may display a name or stage name selected for display, Instagram, country, description, experience, photos, candidate card, work, votes, and results. Phone numbers, private emails, identity documents, payment data, contract signatures, and individual voting choices are not published. Broadcasts and recordings are publicly accessible and may be shared by others.
Necessary information is shared with Stripe for payments and fraud prevention; Resend for codes, notices, and authorized emails; and Cloudflare for hosting, photo storage, background removal and delivery, operation, and security. Depending on the service and policy, these providers may act under our instructions or for limited purposes of their own. We do not send every provider all information about each user.
Authorized staff, production, and judges receive only what they need. Sponsors and carriers receive information necessary to deliver products where they are responsible for delivery; they do not receive voter or applicant lists. News emails are sent by the Organizer, even when they mention sponsors. We may disclose information to advisers or authorities for legal obligations, claims, or security. We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. International transfers
The Organizer and its providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. If applicable law requires specific transfer safeguards, the required safeguards will be used, such as approved contractual clauses or another valid mechanism. You may request information at info@3mendabatalla.com.
5. Retention periods
We retain only the information necessary for each purpose and follow this schedule unless a legal obligation or pending claim justifies retaining specific records longer.
| Category | Period |
|---|---|
| Private application and support data | 12 months after the edition or inquiry ends, whichever is later |
| Votes, verification, and fraud fingerprints | 90 days after final results of the edition; codes expire sooner |
| Payments, contracts, refunds, and tax records | 7 years after the transaction or contract closes |
| Public profiles, photos, and edition recordings | Up to 5 years after the edition ends, subject to authorization and applicable rights |
| Optional news subscriptions | Until consent is withdrawn or 24 months pass without interaction, whichever occurs first |
| Backups under our control | Deleted or overwritten within 90 days after removal from active systems |
Aggregated statistics that no longer identify people may be kept without the individual record. After a news unsubscribe request, we retain the minimum information needed to honor it. Fraud or dispute records are restricted until the matter is resolved and the applicable legal period expires. Providers may retain certain information for their own obligations under their policies.
6. Rights and requests
Email info@3mendabatalla.com with the subject Privacy to request access, a copy, correction, or deletion. Identify the email you used and your relationship to the website; do not send sensitive documents without instructions for a secure channel. We will verify identity proportionately and respond without undue delay, aiming for 30 calendar days, or within the applicable legal deadline. If an extension is permitted, we will explain the reason and new deadline.
Depending on your residence and applicable law, you may also request portability, object to certain uses, restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. If we cannot fulfill all or part of a request, we will explain why and describe review options. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. Accounting duties, acceptance records, or disputes may prevent immediate deletion of all information.
7. News and necessary communications
News subscriptions are optional through a separate, unchecked choice. Unsubscribe through the email link or by writing to info@3mendabatalla.com; requests will be honored within 10 business days. Necessary messages about voting codes, payments, security, or an active application may continue while needed, without using them as a pretext for advertising.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Website browsing statistics do not use cookies. The administration panel uses a session cookie to maintain authorized access; it lasts 14 days. When you move to Stripe’s payment page, Stripe may use its own cookies and technologies to provide and protect payment under its policy. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent panel access or payment completion. If we introduce optional tools requiring consent, we will request it before activation and update this notice.
9. Minors, security and changes
Applications and voting are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from people below that age. If we identify such a registration, we will restrict it and delete data where appropriate. Parents or guardians may contact info@3mendabatalla.com.
We apply reasonable access restrictions and information safeguards without promising absolute security. Incidents will be handled and reported when required by law. Policy changes will show their effective date; material changes will be prominently communicated, and additional consent requested where needed.
